Egyptian businessman Ahmed Abu Hashima topped tweets in Egypt on the social networking site Twitter after news that a call was leaked in which he spoke inappropriately about Egyptian artists.
Mordredon wrote that the leak of the video of the phone call to one of the most prominent Egyptian businessmen loyal to the regime in Egypt, may indicate “a dispute between him and the regime.”
A news report on the site “The Seventh Day”, which was owned by Abu Hashima, said that “the security forces managed to arrest a neurotic formation that sought to blackmail businessman Ahmed Abu Hashima.”
“The formation has sought to blackmail Abu Hashima since 2014,” the report added.
Abu Hashima has emerged as one of the most famous businessmen in Egypt and a large iron factory, amid reports of his close links to the intelligence service.
Abu Hashima drew attention to him on the art scene after his marriage to the Lebanese singer and actress Haifa Wehbe.
Abu Hoshiyya also had a prominent appearance in the media market in Egypt when it controlled a large part of the Egyptian media through its huge group, “Media Egyptians”, which it sold in a surprise deal to “Eagle Capital”, affiliated to the Egyptian General Intelligence.
The only truth in this matter is that all businessmen and artists (especially the legacies among them) are caught up with the needs of the regime by looking for some time to love for reasons that others do not know, among them they betray themselves with it and expose it without prior arrangement and some of them accept it on the pretext that it stands against Egypt against traitors# Abu_Hashima
