Amir Tawfiq, director of the Contracting Committee of Al-Ahly Club, revealed that his club did not enter into negotiations formally to annex the Ivorian Arlem Nouirri, striker of Steaua Bucharest.
The Director of the Contracting Committee of Al-Ahly Club said in a press statement that his club closed the file that included the Ivorian player quickly, stressing that the negotiations did not reach the official form.
The director of the Contracting Committee explained that some players ’agents tried to take advantage of Al-Ahly’s desire to include a foreign striker during the winter transfer market period.
Al-Ahly club seeks during the current transfer period to support the offensive side, as more than one player has been linked to the move to the Red Castle.
Al-Ahly has five foreign players on its local list, who are Mali Aliyu Dieng, Nigerian Junior Ajay, Tunisian Ali Maaloul, Angolan Giraldo and Moroccan Walid Azzaro.
A source in Al-Ahly Club revealed in special statements to “Yalla Koura” that there was a desire to dispense with a foreigner (See details).
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly entered into its first winter contract by contracting Mahmoud Abdel Moneim, “Kahraba”, who is coming from the Portuguese ranks of Deportivo Avis.
