Mohamed El-Khouly, Vice President of the Egyptian Club, confirmed that his team did not enter into negotiations with Zamalek in order to contract Ayman Hefni, who moved to the ranks of the Arab contractors.
Al-Khouly said in statements on Sada Al-Balad channel that his club suffers from a lot of rumors aiming to destroy the team’s stability.
The deputy of the Port Said team said: “The Egyptian suffers from many rumors, but they will not be affected by the team. Unfortunately, these rumors appear from inside Port Said.”
He continued: “The rumor of Ahmed Masoud’s death appeared unfortunately from Port Said, I do not know its cause, but these things will not stop our march.”
He added: “We have no intention of the departure of Ehab Jalal, the coach, because he remains with us until the end of the season, regardless of the results, I repeat, whatever the results.”
He concluded: “There is no truth to what was said about our lack of success in contracting with Ayman Hefny from Zamalek, we did not negotiate from the ground up.”
Al-Khouli’s denial, negotiating with Ayman Hefni, came despite the statements of Tariq Hashem, a member of the Al-Masry administration, of having negotiations with the former Zamalek player before.
