Amir Tawfiq, director of contracts for Al-Ahly, said that the club’s management has completed the contract with Senegalese Alliou Badji, with a value of 2 million euros, which will be paid in installments for a year and a half.
Al-Ahly announced today, Thursday, that he has officially signed Badji for 4 and a half seasons, coming from the Austrian Rapid Vienna.
During special statements by Laila Koura, Amir Tawfiq said: “We followed us for a long time, and it was presented to Al-Ahly coach Fyler alongside more than one player.”
He continued: “The list of negotiations included 3 players Badji was among them, Feiler expressed his admiration for the capabilities of Badji, and after I got his approval I started working to complete the negotiations with the Senegalese player.”
He continued: “Our contract with the player worth 2 million euros will be paid in installments for a year and a half.”
He continued: “The negotiations with the player did not take long, Badji agreed immediately once we started talking to him even though he had other offers, but he saw his move to Al-Ahly as a good step in his career.”
Tawfiq continued his speech: “The negotiations with Rapid Vienna took some time because the Austrian club asked for more numbers than what was agreed upon.”
He concluded his speech by saying: “We will arrive in Cairo at seven in the evening, and he will undergo a medical examination tomorrow, Friday, to join the team’s training directly.”
