The Public Prosecutor decided to conduct an autopsy on the body of the convicted Mustafa Qasim Abdullah Muhammad to determine the causes of his death, as well as asking his medical file and asking the doctors supervising his treatment and condition upon his arrival at “Qasr Al-Aini” hospital, as well as asking the doctors treating him during the period of serving his sentence in Tora Prison Hospital.
The deceased, who holds American citizenship, was transferred from Tora Prison Hospital to Cairo University Hospital, on Sunday, for treatment, but he died on Monday evening.
The deceased American was convicted in a fourth case, which took place in August 2013, and he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for crimes committed during the dispersal of the sit-in.

The Egyptian Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the death of the prisoner.
