Austrian journalist: Alio Badji is like a child

Alexander Huber, the Austrian journalist for the newspaper “Courier”, spoke of Al-Ahly’s new player, Alio Badji, saying he was like children.

Today, Al-Ahly announced the signing of a contract linking Senegalese Alliot Badji with a contract linking him to the Red Castle team for four and a half years. (See here)

Badji sparked a major crisis during the recent period when he posted a picture of him on Instagram in the shirt of Redpool Salzburg, the archenemy of Rapid Vienna, which sparked a wave of anger among the fans.

Alexander denied, through his remarks on Thursday, to “Yalla Koura” that there was misconduct or even deliberate on the part of the 23-year-old in buying the hostility of his fans.

Alexander said, “He got a shirt from Batson Dhaka and published it, which angered the fans, but he remedied it and apologized for this behavior.”

He continued: “From the rule of following me to the club and its players, Badji had no bad intention, we can only say that I act in a naive manner, Badji is like children, when you talk to him you find him a cute person, very calm and respectful.”

Badji apologized to his club fans, saying: “I understand the anger on the part of the fans after this incident by wearing the opponent’s shirt, and I apologize for this situation.”
