Chamberlain: Salah’s pass is great … we still have difficult matches ahead

Liverpool’s Alex Oxlad-Chamberlain said that his Egyptian teammate Mohamed Salah’s second goal in West Ham’s goal came out wonderful, noting that he controlled the ball before Manuel Lanzini and then fired it into the hammers’ goal.

Liverpool was a guest at West Ham in the postponed match of the 18th round of the English Premier League, and the Reds won the match with two goals without reply, to reinforce its position at the top of the Premier League table.

In statements to the official website of Liverpool, Chamberlain said: “Salah’s pass was wonderful. I trusted my possession of the ball before Manuel Lanzini. I put my body in front of him and set out towards the goal.”

He continued: “There are a lot of difficult games ahead, so we just have to continue to strive and do what we do first and foremost to achieve what we want to do in the league, this is the most important thing.”

It is worth noting that Liverpool leads the Premier League table with 70 points, 19 points behind second-placed Manchester City.
