The Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed the details of the arrest of a Turkish-backed electronic cell in Cairo.

The ministry said in an official statement, Wednesday, that as part of its efforts to uncover the terrorist Brotherhood’s and supportive countries ’plans that aim to harm the country, demolish its pillars and infiltrate the home front, the National Security Sector monitored the undertaking of one of the Turkish electronic media committees to take a flat in the Bab al-Luq area as a center For its adverse activity under the cover of the company (Sita) for studies, which was founded by the Brotherhood with the support of the State of Turkey.

The ministry stated that through this center, negative reports were prepared, containing false and fabricated information about the political, economic, security and legal conditions and sending them to the official Anatolia Agency headquarters in Turkey with the aim of distorting the country’s image internally and externally.

The information confirmed the Turkish assumption of the headquarters of the electronic committee in the country, adding that after the permission of the Supreme State Security Prosecution, the headquarters had been targeted.
