The European “EasyJet” announced today, Wednesday, that as of June, it will operate two flights a week from Manchester to Sharm El-Sheikh, and from September will operate two flights from Gatwick in London.

The British government lifted restrictions on air travel to Sharm el-Sheikh airport in October, after flying had stopped since 2015 when a Russian airliner was shot down, killing 224 people on board, all shortly after take-off from the resort.
