On Tuesday afternoon, the funeral of Amin Tamer Moussa, the son of Dr. Maya Morsi, head of the National Council for Women, was held from the Sayyida Nafisa Mosque to his final resting place in the family graves.
The funeral witnessed the attendance of Dr. Ali Al-Mesilhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, Dr. Ahmed Awad, Chairman of the Culture Palaces Authority, Major General Hamdi Badin, President of the National Fish Resources Company, Dr. Ghada Wali, former Minister of Solidarity, and Engineer Hisham Arafat, The former Minister of Transport, Dr. Sahar Nasr, the former Minister of Investment, the artist Hani Salama, some members of the National Council for Women in Cairo, governorates, women’s movements, and a number of members of the House of Representatives.
The journalist, Nashwa Al-Hofy, a member of the National Council for Women, demanded that the media be attached to the case of Dr. Maya Morsi, head of the National Council for Women, because she did not bear the shock of her son’s death, and she collapsed and fainted during the funeral’s exit from the Sayyida Nafisa Mosque, this afternoon, Tuesday.
In statements to Masrawy, Nashwa Al-Hofy called for the Lord Almighty to grant Dr. Maya Morsi’s son the best of his mercy and to inspire his family and his patience and solace.
Maya did not possess herself, forcing some of the attendees to carry her and remove her from the mosque.
The National Council for Women, mourned by Amin Tamer Moussa, 16, the son of Dr. Maya Morsi, on his official page on Facebook: “With hearts believing in God’s worth and destiny, God restored his deposit, we belong to God and to Him we return. He died to the mercy of God-Almighty-Secretary Tamer Moussa, son of Dr. Maya Morsi, head of the National Council for Women, who passed away yesterday evening.
