The technical staff of Al-Ahly decided to impose a heavy financial penalty on striker Walid Azzaro.
Al-Ahly’s decision comes because of the Moroccan striker’s opposition to the decisions of the technical staff in the Tanta match.
The coaching staff, led by Rene Vyler, had excluded Azzaro from the final list to face the final Tanta.
Al-Ahly defeated Tanta with five goals without a response in the round matches of the 13th Egyptian League.
Al-Ahly explained that the decision to impose Azaru comes within the framework of the commitment policy imposed by the technical staff and in accordance with the rules in force in the club.
Azzaro participated with Al-Ahly this season in 11 games and succeeded in scoring 4 goals and making one goal.
Azzaro was absent from participating in the last three games for Al-Ahly, as he was on the bench against the clearing Egypt and the Egypt Club and was excluded from the Tanta confrontation list.
Azzaro scored two goals in the first league competition, against Wadi Degla and the other against Alexandria.
Al-Ahly is top of the league standings with 33 points from 11 games, with the full score.
