Referees training has already started since last Sunday in preparation for its implementation in the second round of the Egyptian League.
“Video technology will be a good step for Egyptian football. One of the tasks of this committee is to develop the game in Egypt, and we are working on that,” Fadel said via Time Sports.
He added: “Technology will help the referees, there will be fairness and transparency in the decisions. We saw in the Barcelona match and Atletico Madrid two goals were canceled by it.”
He continued: “From the first day of the commission taking over, we announced the application of video technology with the beginning of the second round. Two weeks ago, arbitration and controversy problems occurred and everyone demanded its implementation, but we had a vision from the beginning.”
He continued: “I am not sad that the fans do not believe what we promise to achieve, but the video technology will be implemented starting from the second round.”
He continued: “The application of video technology will be a risk because of the pressure of the referees training time, but we hope that the result will be 100%, the time is pressured, but we aspire to come out in the best way.”
He stressed: “Video technology will raise the marketing value of the Egyptian league.”
Fadl explained: “The matches will witness the presence of an art coordinator and media coordinator. It is the idea of Hussam Al-Zanati.
He revealed: “We will travel to agree on a new design for the Egyptian team shirts and make an order.”
He concluded: “The Mixed Media Zone will be present at the beginning of the next match, but it will also depend on the sponsors and that will be the role of the technical coordinator.”
