Christian Eriksen, Tottenham Hotspur player, is close to moving to Inter Milan.

Fabrizio Romano, a trusted journalist for Sky, reported that Eriksen had already agreed to the personal terms and was ready to move to Inter.

Consequently, Inter began formal talks with Tottenham and offered 10 million euros, but the Spurs’ administration demanded that its Italian counterpart double the amount, i.e. 20 million euros.

Negotiations are continuing, and Tottenham has only 15 days to sell Eriksen before his contract expires next summer.

Eriksen has the right to sign for any team from the beginning of January, to join it for free next summer.

Eriksen participated in Tottenham’s victory over Middlesbrough with two goals to one in the third round of the FA Cup Tuesday evening, a game that might be his last in the Spurs jersey if the pace of negotiations accelerated.

Eriksen, 27, has been playing in Tottenham since the summer of 2013, after moving to Ajax from Amsterdam for 13 million euros.

Eriksen played 302 Spurs jerseys, scoring 69 goals, making 89, and leading the team to play the Champions League final for the first time in its history last season.
