Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly Club, revealed the initial diagnosis of the injury suffered by Mahmoud Metwalli, the player of the team during the match of the red giant in front of Tanta.
Mahmoud Metwally had a severe injury in the 55th minute after he interfered with the Tanta player in the middle of the stadium, and he left the stadium for about 10 minutes, when he was replaced by Ahmed Fathi.
Syed Abdul Hafeez explained that the injury to which Mahmoud Mitwalli was exposed came in Al-Sammanah, noting that he is expected to conduct several medical exams tomorrow Thursday to get to know the nature of the injury and the duration of his absence and determine his treatment and rehabilitation program.
Abdel-Hafeez said during his remarks to Al-Ahly TV after the end of the Tanta match: “Mahmoud Metwally felt pain in the obesity, and asked her a lot to replace him, but he told us that he is fine, but in general we will do tests tomorrow and we hope that he is healthy.”
Al-Ahly was able to continue its victories in the league competition after achieving its 11th consecutive victory, which came at the expense of Tanta with five goals without a response, in the match that brought the two teams together this evening, Wednesday, at the Cairo Stadium.
