Khaled al-Mahjoub, director of the Moral Guidance Department of the General Command of the army, said that it is only possible for a military solution to be reached with the armed militias of the Al-Wefaq forces fighting in the capital, Tripoli, after rejecting all political solutions and peaceful options.

Al-Mahjoub added, in a special statement to Al-Arabiya channel on Tuesday, that “when the solution is not reached through politics, there is no room except for a military solution, because these armed militias are known and can only be understood with their elimination, just like the Brotherhood, do not listen to The voice of politics and dialogue is understood only in the language of force of arms.

Commenting on the failure of the talks between the two parties to the conflict in Moscow and the collapse of the armistice agreement, Mahjoub said: “They demanded dialogue and political solutions after they realized that they were finished,” explaining that the victor is the one who imposes his conditions, not the loser.

The clashes renewed, earlier today, between the Libyan army forces and armed militias of the Al-Wefaq government in a number of fighting axes in the capital, Tripoli, after the ceasefire agreement collapsed, against the background of Field Marshal Khalifa Hifter’s refusal to sign it, because he ignored a number of his demands and reservations regarding Turkey’s participation Overseeing this agreement.
