Cairo- (dpa):

The Libyan Observatory newspaper said that Field Marshal Khalifa Hifter, commander of the Libyan National Army, and his accompanying delegation, had already left the Russian capital Moscow on Tuesday morning, without signing a ceasefire agreement.

This comes, in confirmation of what was reported by the correspondent of the “Al-Arabiya” satellite, that Field Marshal Hifter left the Russian capital Moscow without signing a ceasefire agreement in Libya.

The newspaper added, quoting informed sources, that the Marshal will not sign any documents, at the expense of the sacrifices of the heroes from the army forces, and the aspirations of the Libyan people to rid themselves of terrorism, or prevent the national army from exercising its duties in limiting weapons and controlling public order.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that Hifter had postponed the signing of the truce agreement.

Meanwhile, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavuşo أوlu said Hifter had requested a deadline until Tuesday morning.
