Al-Ahly club’s football team continues its group training at its stadium “Mukhtar Al-Touch” in preparation for the Sudanese Al-Hilal match next Saturday in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the African Champions League.
The team’s training witnessed the participation of Mohamed El-Shennawy in the group training after he recovered from the back bruising he suffered in the last game of the coastal star, which was held last Sunday in the group stage matches in the continental championship.
Ramadan Sobhi participated regularly in the course of the day, as the player suffered a rupture of the posterior muscle that kept him from participating with the team during the last period.
Ramadan Sobhi had previously received medical warnings not to friction with the big balls.
Al-Maran witnessed three different injuries, as Ahmed Al-Sheikh suffered a facial injury before the team’s medical device intervened to treat the player, and Senegalese Alio Badji was injured in the nose, in addition to Ahmed Fathi, who suffered a bruise before the duo returned to the group exercise.
Al-Ahly seeks in the Saturday game to come out with the result of winning or drawing at least in order to cross the group stage and complete the continental career by participating in the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
Al-Ahly occupies the top of Group Two before the start of the sixth stage, when the red team collected ten points, in contrast the Tunisian coastal star and Al-Hilal Sudanese duo came in the second and third ranks with nine points, and Zimbabwe’s Platinum champion appended the group with one point he had achieved at the expense of Al-Ahly with a draw (1) -1) In Zimbabwe.
