News of intense gunfire in the Sudanese capital Khartoum

Sudanese media reported today, Tuesday, heavy gunfire in the capital, Khartoum.

The Sudanese Professionals Caucus talked about the continuous shooting, with the closing of the streets leading to the capital’s neighborhoods, saying that there are reports indicating the revolt of the intelligence operations forces.

The Sudanese Intelligence Service announced that a group of soldiers in Khartoum objected to the after-service reward, adding that he was assessing the situation and would remedy it according to the requirements of national security.

The Sudanese Professionals Group expressed its rejection of the attempts to intimidate the citizens and attempts to create chaos, considering that there is a media blackout “suspicious of the official state agencies.”

The caucus of professionals called on the state’s regular agencies to intervene immediately and stop “irresponsible operations,” while news indicated a revolt of the intelligence operations forces.
