Zoran Barisic, sporting director of the Austrian club Rapid Vienna, said they have agreed to the transfer of Senegalese striker Alio Badji to help him play for one of the biggest clubs in Africa.
The sports director said in his statements to the official website of Rapid Vienna on the Internet: “We wish success to Alio Badji in his career, we did not want to deprive him of the opportunity to play for one of the most famous and best clubs in his continent.”
He continued: “The team has regained the services of Koya Kitagawa, another striker, and it was not easy for Badji to get a basic place as he wanted.”
He added: “I would also like to thank Alio and Al-Ahly officials for the respectful negotiations.”
Al-Ahly contracted Alio Badji for 4 and a half years from Austria Rapid Vienna to carry out the team’s attack in the coming period.
