She just left our world, great star Magda Al-Sabahi, at the age of 89, after a busy career.
The late star is considered one of the most important and famous stars of the golden age of Egyptian cinema, she presented works of her heroism, production and directing.

Her real name is Afaf Ali Kamel Al-Sabahi.
I was born in Tanta, Gharbia Governorate, May 6, 1931
She entered art at a young age, specifically, when she was fifteen years old.
_ Her films excelled in moving away from stereotypes, as she had distinguished roles in cinema.
_ Her most notable works are “Where’s My Life”, “Today’s Girls”, “Naked Truth”, “Intuition”, “Teenage Girls”, “Beautiful”, and others.
_ She worked as a director, actress, author and producer in the movie “Whoever Loves”.

_ Represented Egypt in many festivals, including the Berlin Festival and the Venice Festival.
_ The news of her sermon was spread by the artist Saeed Abu Bakr, but soon Al-Kawakeb Magazine lied to her, and she confirmed at the time that the picture was merely a “April bite”.
_ Her family rejected the request of artist Rushdi Abaza to marry her, because of his emotional adventures, despite his extreme love for her.
She married only once to the artist Ihab Nafi in 1963.
_ She gave birth to her daughter, artist Ghada Nafi, and the latter confirmed that the marriage lasted for less than 3 years.
Her most recent work was “I Forget A Woman”, in 1994.
Former President Adly Mansour honored her at the Art Day concert in 2014, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
