On Wednesday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi raised the Egyptian armed forces flag on the “Bernice” military base, the largest military base on the Red Sea, marking its opening.
It also coincided with the simultaneous raising of the flag of the armed forces on the marine component of the Bernese military base.
The inauguration was attended by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, President of Armenia, Armen Sarkisyan, and Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman.
Parliament Speaker Dr. Ali Abdel-Aal, Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, First Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and a number of ministers, senior statesmen, and the armed forces, as well as a number of Egypt’s guests, were also diplomats.
President Sisi also watched a documentary on the Bernese military base, the largest military base in the Red Sea region.
The documentary came under the title “Power and Weapon”, and it was prepared by the Department of Moral Affairs.
The film covered a presentation of the efforts of the armed forces, and what they offer in many efforts, as well as details of the Bernice military base, where the base area is 150 thousand acres.
The film included scenes reviewing the stages of establishing and completing the base and showing pride in what the best armed forces had achieved in the world.
Today, President Sisi will open the Bernice military base, the largest military base in the Red Sea region. During the opening, President Sisi will witness the final stage of the maneuver Qadir «۲۰۲۰».
