Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was named England’s 2019 Player of the Year, beating Manchester City superstar Raheem Sterling and Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
Henderson has represented England on seven occasions over the past year, and has reached 50 caps during his victory against Montenegro in March.
The 29-year-old helped the “Three Lions” national team qualify for the Euro 2020 European Nations Cup, and he also won third place in the European Nations League.
At club level, Henderson was crowned with Liverpool with three titles in 2019, the European Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.
