The first Egyptian handball team “Men” is preparing for the final of the African Nations Cup, which brings it together with its Tunisian counterpart, who hosted the tournament that started on the sixteenth of January.
The African Championship final match is scheduled to take place at the Palace of Sports in Rades, and it will start at 7 pm on Sunday, Cairo time, and the meeting will be broadcast live via the Moroccan Sports Channel 3.
The Egyptian national team qualified for the final of the tournament after it beat its Algerian counterpart in the semi-final with a score of 30-27, while the Tunisian national team qualified after finishing Angola with a score of 39-29.
Both teams seek victory and victory in the championship, and qualify directly to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, as the champion will qualify directly, while the loser will play an extension to qualify.
Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, is expected to attend the meeting, after he arrived in Tunis on Friday morning, and visited the national team in its match against Algeria.
