Gouda Abdel-Khaleq, the former Minister of Supply, said that Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi is a respectable man and turned his heart over Egypt.

He added, during his meeting with the journalist Ahmed Magdi, on the “Cup of Coffee” program, broadcast on “Echo Al-Balad” channel, that Field Marshal Tantawi was performing his national duty to the fullest.

The former Minister of Supply added that Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi took many positions during cabinet meetings, in defense of the people’s wealth.

He pointed out that he took refuge in Tantawi when the workers in the Upper Egypt Mills Company decided to stop work and owned 12 mills in about 6 governorates in Upper Egypt, and discovered that there is no strategic stock in Upper Egypt, and then decided to transfer the flour from Cairo to Upper Egypt under the protection of the army forces.
