The new Senegalese striker, Alio Badji, confirmed that he is well aware of the value of the Red Club, the historical African champion in his brown continent, after he officially transferred to his ranks.
Al-Ahly announced today, Thursday, that the Senegalese Alliot Badji will be officially transferred to Austria from Rapid Vienna to support the Red Team in the second half of the season.
In a video message from Badji to Al-Ahly fans, the Senegalese player said: “I am Alliou Badji on my way to join the great and wonderful club. I am very happy to join your family and I hope to achieve the African Champions League.”
Badji added: “I return to my African continent again, I realize the size and value of Al-Ahly on the continent, I am confident that I will develop and gain a lot within the Al-Ahly club, yet I know very well the pressures of a large team like Al-Ahly.”
The former Rapid Vienna striker continued: “You have to be positive in a team like Al Ahly, and always do your best, sometimes it hits and sometimes it is unsuccessful, but the most important thing is to give everything you have for success.”
“I know a lot about Al-Ahly and its importance in Africa, because he is the most awarded to the African Champions League, I think he won the title more than 6 times (Al-Ahly was crowned the Champions League 8 times).”
“I am confident that the transition to Al-Ahly is a very important step, and the team players will help me succeed because they have great capabilities,” the Senegalese player continued.
Badji concluded: “I followed Al-Ahly news through my friends who play in the Egyptian league, and my move to Al-Ahly would be a step to join the Senegalese team in the coming period.”
