Books – Ahmed Massad:

The Director of the Meteorological Center’s prediction center, Dr. Mahmoud Shaheen, warned against a bad weather wave hitting the country in the next 72 hours, indicating a decrease in temperatures from 3 to 4 degrees Celsius, to range in Cairo between 19 and 20 degrees Celsius.

Shaheen added, for the 90-minute program broadcast on Al-Mehwar TV channel, that on Friday and Saturday there will be a new decrease with temperatures reaching 16 degrees Celsius. The country may witness moderate winds, mainly southwestern, and active in the north of the country, and lead to disruption of maritime navigation on the Mediterranean, with moderate rains falling on Cairo, heavy on the coasts.

He explained that these phenomena at the current time of the year are usual, stressing the improvement of weather conditions after the 72-hour period.

The director of the Forecast Center advised the citizens to wear heavy clothes and stay away from areas of heavy rainfall as much as possible and be careful of the morning dirt.
