A source familiar with the referee’s report, Ibrahim Nour El-Din, the referee of the Pyramids and Al-Ittihad Alexandria match, spoke about the reason for calculating the goal that was scored for Pyramids for player Abdullah Al-Saeed and not as a counter-goal for Al-Ittihad goalkeeper Imad Al-Sayed.
Pyramids had fallen into the trap of a tie against its Alexandrian Federation during the match they gathered yesterday evening Thursday with a goal for each team in the 13th round of the league championship.
However, the match was a buzz over the goal scored by Pyramids, where Abdullah Al-Saeed sent a corner that Emad Al-Sayed, the Federation goalkeeper, tried to drive him away before reaching the head of John Antwi, the Pyramids player, and he put it in his net.
The same source said in special statements to Yalla Koura today, Friday: “The referee made it clear in his report that the ball was in the direction of the goal and it was possible to inhabit the Federation goal without the intervention of Imad Al-Sayed, and that Imad did not intentionally direct the ball to his goal.”
Abdullah Al-Saeed did not celebrate in the stadium during the match the goal that is number 100 in his career in Egypt, where John Antwi celebrated before Abdullah celebrated the 100th goal after the match through his accounts on social networking sites.
