For its part, the “Milwaukee Journal Sentinel” newspaper reported that Molson Course, whose name until last year was “Miller Course”, had notified its employees in an email that a gunman in the building was shooting.
The newspaper quoted the husband of an employee of the alcohol factory as saying that his wife had told him through text messages that she was aware of an armed gunman shooting in the building while she was hiding with colleagues in a room.
