Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly Club, confirmed that the list of the team that is scheduled to travel to South Africa to face the Sundowns will not change anything from the list of the first-leg match that was in Cairo hours ago.
Al-Ahly managed to win the Sundowns today, Saturday evening, in a meeting in the away leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League.
Abdel Hafeez said in televised remarks on Al-Nahar channel, that Al-Ahly coach Fyler decided to accompany the same players who fought against the Sundowns during the trip to South Africa.
Al-Ahly will face his South African counterpart Sundowns next Saturday in the second leg of the African Champions League quarter-finals.
Abdel Hafeez added that the list traveling to South Africa will be free of the duets Ramadan Sobhi and Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba, after they were absent from the first leg match in Cairo.
He concluded his remarks: “Certainly, Ramadan Sobhi’s presence in the face of return would have added strength to the team, but his team mates are able to make a strong game and return with the qualification card.
