The Libyan National Army spokesman, Major General Ahmed Al-Mesmari, said that the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has transported up to 3,500 terrorist elements from the Al-Nusra and ISIS fronts from Syria to Libya via the Maitika airport.

He added, in a press conference today, Monday, “Turkey has transported up to 2000 members of the Al-Nusra Front, and 1,500 members from ISIS to Libya via the Maitika airport.”

“Erdogan has brought terrorist groups affiliated with the Brotherhood from Syria to Libya,” he said.

Al-Mesmari said that the commander of the national army, Field Marshal Khalifa Hifter, lured Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan into a trap that will never get out of him.

He added in a press conference held today, Monday, that Field Marshal Hifter revealed Erdogan’s sponsorship of terrorist organizations in Libya.

He continued, “We did not target Turkish warships in observance of the ceasefire.”

And Al-Mesmari went on to say that the Turkish invasion is now in the gates, after Ankara worked to extend the Al-Wefaq government with soldiers and equipment.

He added that the Libyan army did not target the Turkish warships in observance of the cease-fire decision in the country.

A few days ago, Al-Mismari released a video to unload a Turkish ship loaded with armored vehicles and weapons in Libya.

Al-Mismari said in a post on “Facebook”: “The General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces monitors the tonnage of the Turkish ship that it landed in the port of Tripoli last Tuesday evening, 28 January 2020.”
