French coach Patrice Carteron, coach of the Zamalek team, confirmed that he is committed to being with the white team during the coming period, despite recent offers.
And Saudi reports had suggested that Patrice Carteron would soon assume the role of coaching Al-Ahly’s Saudi club, after Christian Gross had left the team’s training.
In exclusive statements to Koura at night, Carteron said that he will not leave Zamalek’s training for the time being, and there is no truth to the news that indicates his departure is imminent.
He added, that during the past period he received Saudi offers, and entered into talks with some officials of some clubs there, but he did not respond with approval in this file.
The French coach explained that he is currently rejecting all offers submitted to him to leave the white castle, stressing that he will not go to the training of another team.
Zamalek contracted with Carton months ago, to lead the team recently to achieve the African Super Championships at the expense of Esperance and the Egyptian Super at the expense of Al-Ahly.
Carteron is currently preparing to continue his career with Zamalek in the Champions League, where his Esperance team will face him in the quarter-finals of the championship that he lost earlier when he was coach with Al-Ahly.
In early December of last year, Zamalek announced the signing of the French coach, Carteron, for two years, after breaking the contract with Serbian coach Meizhou.
