In a follow-up to the collapse of the smart phone market in China, the largest market for phones in the world, due to the outbreak of the Corona virus, the Counterpoint Research Corporation, in a recent report, reduced its expectations for smart phone sales in China by about 20% during the first quarter of this year.

The Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Qabas, reported that, according to the leading research institution in China, based in Hong Kong, Huawei is at the top of the list of those affected by the decline in sales – according to the “Economic Times” website.

The “counterpoint” estimates for non-electronic sales, after excluding e-marketing platforms, decreased during the period of the Coruna virus outbreak by almost 50%.

In the context of the comment, Flora Tang, a counterpoint analyst, suggested that OPPO and Vivo companies will also be affected by direct sales stores, but they have lessened the effects on the sales of “Xiaomi”, “OnePlus” and “Realme”, Based on these companies’ greater focus on electronic sales and sale abroad.

Moreover, the organization, which is widely dependent on its expectations in the booming chip and smart phone sector in the Asian continent, expected iPhone sales to drop by about one million units, due to its decision to keep its stores closed until February 15.
