An argument between Al-Ahly and Zamalek players after the end of the meeting in the Egyptian Super
Adel El Shourbagy, head of the grievances committee, revealed the possibility of easing the penalties for the super game, as happened before more than once this season.
A number of Al-Ahly and Zamalek players were subjected to strong penalties by the Discipline Committee against the background of what happened after the end of the Egyptian Super match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek.
Al-Shurbaji told: FilGoal.com: “It is possible to reduce the sanctions as it has happened more than once this season.”
“The sentence of Safan al-Saghir, the Ismaili goalkeeper coach and a number of Pyramids players, has been reduced,” he said.
On what the committee relies on to reduce the penalties, he said: “After the petition is submitted, the matter and the penalty are studied, and accordingly, a decision is taken to reduce or continue the sentence.”
On the petition of Al-Ahly and Zamalek clubs, Al-Shorbagi revealed: “The two parties have not yet filed a petition on the decisions of the Disciplinary Committee.”
He stressed, “Therefore, the matter of reducing or continuing the punishment has not been studied due to the lack of an official request and clarification of the cause of medicine.”
And on the time allowed for each of them to submit a petition, he explained, “Each team has the right to petition against the decisions within 10 days of the issuance of this decision.”
He concluded his remarks, “With that, there is still time for each of them to present the petition, after which the matter will be discussed.”
Mahmoud Abdel Moneim “Kahraba”, Al Ahly player, Imam Ashour of Zamalek player and Ahmed Zahir, the administrative team of the white team, were suspended until the end of the season, along with Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala” suspension for 8 matches, and only those who are entitled to appeal against the decision.
