Jimmy Carragher, a former Liverpool player, said that the Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the Reds player, is not appreciated by the fans of the English club at the same time. At the same time, he pointed out that if the club wanted to get 130 million pounds in exchange for selling it, he would get them.

Salah contributed to his team yesterday’s victory over West Ham United 3-2 in the 27th round of the English Premier League match, raising the Reds’ balance to 79 points.

During remarks reported by the British newspaper “Daily Mail” Jimmy Carragher said: “I think Salah’s popularity has declined by the club’s fans recently.”

He continued: “Everyone outside sees Salah as a global player, but with the Liverpool fans I think his popularity has declined, certainly his level has fallen from what he was in his first seasons.”

He continued: “Liverpool fans were cheering for Salah in the first season with enthusiasm, and the whole earth was shaking with chanting, but you did not hear Mo Salah’s chanting in the last two years.”

The former Liverpool captain continued: “Liverpool now has six players on a world scale who are Alison, Trent Alexander-Underold, Virgil Van Dyck, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Salah, if I ask Liverpool fans whether they will get big money if any of the other five players are sold. But if you ask 130 million pounds to sell Salah, you will definitely get it. “

He concluded: “He can make you feel a little disappointed but very good, he is not a winger, he is a distinguished striker, yes, sometimes selfishly when he is in front of the goal, he is never looking for a pass.”

It is worth mentioning that Salah joined the ranks of Liverpool at the start of the 2017/2018 season, coming from Rome, Italy, and he succeeded in achieving 90 goals so far in various competitions, as well as making 37 successful passes.
