Books- Ali Al-Bahji:
The Egyptian Football Association’s Discipline and Ethics Committee issued unprecedented sanctions against the Pyramids team, against the backdrop of the team’s recent confrontations with Al-Ahly.
Pyramids lost its confrontation with Al-Ahly, with two goals for a goal, in a meeting in the 16th round of the Premier League in the Air Defense Stadium.
The Disciplinary Committee decided to suspend 5 players from Pyramids, namely (Omar Jaber – Ali Jabr – Ragab Bakkar, Islam Issa and Ahmed Ayman Mansour) for 3 games and fining each player fifty thousand pounds.
The Disciplinary Committee also decided to prevent Mamdouh Eid, CEO of the “Pyramids FC” club from participating in football-related activities three games with a fine of fifty thousand pounds.
On the other side, the Disciplinary Committee decided to suspend Sayed Abdel-Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly Club, for one match, while fining him fifty thousand pounds.
The Disciplinary Committee imposed a penalty on Al-Ahly by fining him one hundred thousand pounds for the violation mentioned in the match report, with the fans citing the Pyramids and Ali Gabr players.
In a related context, the committee held that what was attributed to: Mahmoud Fathallah, the coach of the Pyramids FC team and Hani Saeed, the sports director of the Pyramids FC club, is an individual saying in the match referee report that cannot be relied upon by anyone else, as it happened after the end of the match and outside the stadium. He was not supported in this account by the report of the match observer or the match coordinator, with which this statement is not sufficiently sufficient to prove the act attributed to the aforementioned to punish them, and then the committee submits it without relying on him.
