The first team of Zamalek Club resumed its training today, Sunday, in preparation for facing Al-Ahly in the League match scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, in the fourth round of the local championship.
The white team had a break from the training yesterday, Saturday, after crowning the Super Championship after defeating Al-Ahly with a penalty shootout 4-3.
The technical staff of the team was keen to hold a session with the players before the start of the training session, during which he saluted the players for the effort exerted during the recent period, which culminated in winning the African and Egyptian Super Championships.
The technical staff stressed to the players the need to continue to work hard for the next due to the important period ahead in the team’s journey.
Carteron and General Coach Sami El-Shishiny also urged the players to focus only, prepare aggressively, and not pay any attention to other matters.
On the other hand, the technical staff escalated the four-way youth team, born in 2001: Hossam Ashraf, Mohamed Hossam “Besso,” Yassin Mari, and Hatem Mohamed, to train with the team this morning.
This step comes within the framework of the technical staff’s policy to increase the training of youngsters with the team to gain more experiences.
Players performed a qualifying paragraph by running around the stadium for 15 minutes during the team’s training, followed by a light recreational period, which is exchanging the ball by hand between them to reduce physical loads on the players.
In a related context, the Quartet Mahmoud Abd Al-Razek “Shikabala”, Tariq Hamid, supervised Bnashriqi and Hazem Imam, conducted a qualifying session on the margins of the training.
Next to Mahmoud Alaa, the quartet was satisfied with the qualifying paragraphs, and they completed the rest of the exercise at the gymnasium.
While the trio of Mohamed Abdel-Ghani, Abdullah Gomaa and Mohamed Abdel-Shafi, got a break from the exercises today, and they only performed the exercises in the gymnasium hall to treat the muscle stress that the trio suffers from.
On the other hand, the technical staff was satisfied with the participation of Youssef Ibrahim Obama, the player of the team in the first qualifying session in Al-Maran, to complete the rest of the training with the rest of the group present in the gym.
