Mohamed Fadl, a member of the five-year committee for the Egyptian Football Association, confirmed that he received a call from Mahmoud Al-Khatib, head of Al-Ahly, a few hours ago.
Fadel said, in statements on the channel Echo of the Country, that Al-Khatib called his phone to inquire about the reasons for the decisions taken regarding the events of the Egyptian Super Cup match.
A member of the Football Association’s management committee said: “Al-Khatib also inquired whether or not the footage we obtained from the Abu Dhabi Channel, and we obtained it from video technology and the Abu Dhabi Council.”
And he added, “The referees of the summit meeting reached Cairo, and I do not comment on Zamalek’s decision to withdraw and respect all clubs.”
