The International Anti-Doping Committee has officially informed the Russian authorities of preventing Russia from participating in the upcoming World Cup Finals, hosted by Qatar territory in 2022.
According to the network, “beIN Sports” the Russian authorities have been officially informed of the decision, which also includes the denial of participation in the Olympic Games, hosted by the Japanese capital Tokyo this year.
The International Anti-Doping Agency made a historic decision in December of 2019, to deny Russia to participate in all international sporting competitions for four years, due to serious irregularities in the field of anti-doping.
Russia has lodged an appeal against the decision on international sports wisdom, and the rejection of the appeal means confirming Russias denial of participation in major sporting events during the next four years, most notably the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup.
