The South Korean government is considering removing a second infected person with the new “Corona” virus from hospital, after recovering from the virus that has killed 361 people in China so far, according to Yonhap News.
A health authority official said today, Monday, that signs of a complete recovery from pneumonia appeared on the second patient, and the results of the HIV tests were negative.
Quarantine procedures can be lifted from the patient if the results of his virus tests are negative twice during tests conducted within 24 hours, but he is not discharged from the hospital immediately, and the medical team decides that due to various conditions such as the health status and others.
It is noteworthy that the second patient with the disease returned from Wuhan, central China, where the new “Corona” virus appeared, to South Korea on January 22, where he was found infected on the 24th of the same month, and he remained under quarantine and received treatment at the National Medical Center Seoul.
