Today, Monday, the Economic Court is hearing a lawsuit filed by pilot Ashraf Abu El-Yaser, in which the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, seeks compensation for the damages caused to him as a result of the “plane picture crisis”.
Magdy Helmy, the lawyer of the pilot, Ashraf Abu El-Yaser, told Masrawy, that he demanded in his lawsuit that his client pay 25 million pounds for the material and moral damages he suffered as a result of the publication of the artist’s image in his client’s plane.
The case No. 119 of 2020 carried an economic appellant.
“My dream” said in his lawsuit that the artist Mohamed Ramadan used his client’s image to promote himself by publishing a video clip of a new song for him that he called “I do not search at the airport”, taking advantage of the picture of Captain Pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr in a show scene in the plane’s leadership, which led to severe damage Financial and literary for him.
The artist, Mohamed Ramadan, posted a picture of him on a plane that was piloted by Captain Ashraf Abu Al Yusr, in which he said it was an experience to pilot the plane.
The Civil Aviation Authority imposed a penalty on the pilot Ashraf Abulisser of withdrawing his life-long license for violating safety standards while flying, in addition to revoking his assistant’s license for a year.
