The Algerian Minister of Health, Population, and Hospital Reform, Abdel Rahman bin Bouzid, has revealed that a new treatment protocol for the Corona virus has been put in place, based on a new locally produced drug, which is used for confirmed cases.
He said, “Ben Bouzid”, in statements, on Monday evening, that “according to the experiences of some countries, the scientific committee decided to put into effect a new treatment protocol based on a new drug that is locally produced and imported as well, which is described for confirmed cases and is currently available in sufficient quantities.”
He confirmed the existence of a continuous renewal process for the central pharmacy stores for hospitals and the “Pasteur Algeria Institute”, in coordination with other sectors, and according to the directives of President Abdel Majeed Taboun and Abdel Aziz Jarad, Prime Minister, thanks to all the facilities that the government has adopted to import these materials.
He pointed to the formation of a committee headed by the government to take care of this process, announcing that all preparatory procedures have been completed to open three extensions of the Pasteur Institute to diagnose the Corona virus, explaining that the Oran plant entered into service starting on Monday, while the Constantine plant will enter into service next Wednesday. , While work will begin in the Ouargla factory during the next week
He stressed that the state is totally recruited through its institutions to deal with this global epidemic, stressing that it is able to end the epidemic if the hygiene rules recommended by experts are respected.
