The Ismailia governorate witnessed a horrific collision on the 36 Al-Harbi Road, on Thursday evening, which resulted in the death of 12 people and the injury of 9 others by bruises and cuts in various parts of the bodies of the injured.
The Director of Ismailia Security, Major General Jamal Al-Ghazali, received a report from the Director of Ambulance, Ismailia Governorate, on the occurrence of a collision of three cars on Road No. 36 Al-Harbi, which is located in front of the International Company in the area of the Great Hill.
Thirteen ambulances were immediately transferred, and several ambulances from the Sharkia governorate were used to approach the road where the accident occurred from the borders of Sharqia Governorate to Ismailia Governorate.
When the ambulances arrived at the site of the accident, it became clear to the ambulance men that the accident killed 12 people and injured 13 others, including many women and children. To Al-Tal Al-Kabeer Hospital, and 4 people died on arrival at Ismailia General Hospital. The victims of the accident ranged from children under the age of two years to the bus driver who died at the age of 52. After the first examination of the injured, it was found that most of the injuries were between fractures and heavy bleeding in different parts of the injured bodies.
For its part, the Public Prosecution began investigations into the causes of the accident.
