Egypt extends air suspension for two weeks, starting in April

Egypt announced that it will extend the suspension of air traffic for another two weeks, starting next April.

The Egyptian authorities have taken several new precautionary decisions to counter the spread of the new Corona virus.

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced, during a press conference, today, Tuesday, new measures to confront Corona, including a curfew, the suspension of the movement of citizens, public transport and means of transportation from seven in the evening until six in the morning.

The commercial stores will also be closed from five in the evening until six oclock the next morning, and close entirely on Friday and Saturday, and close all cabarets, cafes and all restaurants and food stores, provided that work is limited to transferring requests with the suspension of government services such as real estate month, insurance and traffic for a period of two weeks.

Egypt had announced the suspension of air traffic at all Egyptian airports from Thursday, March 19 until the end of the month.

The decision to extend the suspension of air traffic is aimed at preventing the spread of the Corona virus.

The total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until Monday, 366 cases, including 68 cases that were cured and discharged from the isolation hospital, and 19 deaths.

Madbouly indicated that his government decided to reduce the number of workers in government agencies in order to reduce the volume of usual crowding out in those institutions.

Earlier, the Egyptian government decided to suspend the study for a period of two weeks, followed by the announcement of the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments to ban social gatherings, such as funerals, in addition to closing all religious sites until the end of this month.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi announced the allocation of 100 billion pounds to finance the plan to combat the spread of the Corona virus, including precautionary measures.
