The German club Leipzig apologized to a group of Japanese fans who were removed from the club’s stadium in a Bundesliga game on Sunday, due to concerns about the Coruna virus.
A number of fans spoke on Twitter for social media, that they received a request to leave the field about ten minutes after the start of the match against Bayer Leverkusen.
The German club confirmed that the club’s security officials made a mistake in their attempts to follow the instructions issued by the Robert Koch Institute to deal with the citizens of some of the countries where the Corona virus could be spread.
Leipzig had tried to reach the fans to invite them to another match.
