Tunisian newspapers dealt with the Zamalek team qualifying for the CAF Champions League semi-finals after they eliminated the Tunisian Esperance team in the last two versions.
Zamalek in the first leg, the meeting was settled in favor of it by winning three goals against a goal, in return, Esperance responded in the return match, which was held on Friday evening at the “Olympic” stadium, with an insufficient victory with a goal without a response.
The white team, which won the African Super title at the expense of Esperance, is awaiting the winner of the Mazembe-Congolese match, and the Moroccan Oval player, who decided to go to Morocco in his favor by two goals without reply.

The Tunisian newspaper “Al-Shorouk” said that although Zamalek lost to Esperance 1-0, they qualified for the CAF Champions League semi-finals.
The Tunisian newspaper added that the Zamalek team benefited from the result of the first-leg match against Esperance, after winning three goals against a goal, to make the total of the two matches (3-2).

The Tunisian newspaper “Al-Sabah” reported that the Esperance team bid farewell to the African Champions League, despite its early goal in the net of Zamalek.
The newspaper pointed out that despite the strong start to Esperance, the defense of Zamalek did not find much difficulty in dealing with the attacks of colleagues Brahima Ouattara.
The newspaper continued that Esperance lost the qualification card as a result of the players and the technical staff entering into protests with Moroccan referee Radouane Gayed.
