Dakahlia Governorate witnessed today, Tuesday, the departure of a train from the railway tracks at the Sendila Train Station.

It turned out that the train was traveling from Belqas city on a way to Sherbeen, when it collided with the station’s pier without any injuries.

Major General Fadel Amar, Director of Dakahlia Security, received a notification that a notification had been received for the Department of Rescue, that train 489 coming from Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate was leaving on the way to the city of Belqas and Sherbin.

The detectives and civil protection officials moved to the site of the communication, and upon examination it was found that the train contained 7 vehicles and the train driver was surprised that the train derailed as a result of the breakdown of the diversion and its collision with the platform of Sindila station.

The necessary minutes of the incident were issued, and the railway authority was notified to take the necessary action and work to fix the faults and resume the movement of trains that were stopped as a result of the accident.
