Tunisian press reports stated that the Confederation of African Football “CAF” had taken decisions to suspend coaching coach Terje Mouane Chaabani and his assistant, Magdi El Tarawi, in addition to the pair Khalil Shammam and Abdel Raouf Ben Ghaith.
The Tunisian newspaper “Foot 24” said that the decisions of the AU Disciplinary Committee decided to suspend the activity of Khalil Shammam for six games, compared to 4 games for each of Moein Chaabani, Majdi Al Tarawi and Abdel Raouf Bin Ghaith.
Yalla Koura had revealed today, Wednesday, that Radwan Gayed submitted the referee of the Champions League quarter-final match between Zamalek and Tunisias Esperance, with a complaint to the Disciplinary Committee regarding the match’s events (See details).
The Tunisian website itself stated that the sanctions taken by the Disciplinary Committee included a fine of 160,000 dollars for Esperance.
Zamalek will play in front of Esperance in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final next Friday in Tunisia, after the African Super Champion won the game 3-1.
