Turkish reports said that the Besiktas club management is considering activating the purchase clause for the loaned player Mohammed Al-Nani from Arsenal, but only on the condition that the Gunners management agree to reduce the proposed price.
Al-Nini joined the ranks of Turkish Besiktas early this season on loan from Arsenal.
The 27-year-old participated in 26 matches of the Turkish team’s jerseys in various championships.
According to the newspaper, “Turkish-Football”, Besiktas is considering holding talks with Arsenal officials to purchase the El Nene contract, provided the administration of the Gunners agrees to reduce the asking price.
Al-Nini has in his contract with Besiktas a clause allowing the Turkish club to activate the option to buy the player after paying an estimated financial value of 18 million euros.
The Turkish newspaper pointed out that the financial value required to purchase the Al-Nini contract is huge for Besiktas.
Al-Nini has confirmed in previous statements that he is happy to be with the Turkish team, pointing out that he is ready to stay with the club if the latter welcomes his continuation. (Follow Al Nini’s remarks via the link)
