Dr. Tariq Shawqi, Minister of Education and Technical Education, issued Ministerial Resolution No. 70 of 2020 regarding the study and evaluation system for the remainder of the academic year 2019/2020.

In his decision, the Minister of Education said that this decision comes in light of the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through to counter the spread of the new Corona virus and applies to all public and private schools.

The decision stated that:

Students are evaluated for the second semester from the third primary to the third preparatory grade through a research project at the end of the second semester of the academic year 2019/2020, provided that the age group is taken into account, and the goal is for the student to view the content of the subject for the second semester Until March 15, 2020, giving the student a number of research skills in a manner commensurate with his educational stage, developing presentation and organization skills and expressing opinions, supporting contemplative thinking skills, guiding the student to self-learning and emphasizing its inclusion in the learning process individually or collectively, and the student’s investment of the site and Links included on the Egyptian knowledge bank.

The degrees obtained by the student in the research project in each subject are added to his grades in the first semester, and the principal is responsible for announcing the result.

The minister said in his decision For undergraduate students:

Concerning the third secondary class:

The Minister’s decision stated that the exams include everything the student studied in the academic year (the semester in addition to the second semester until March 15, 2020), while adhering to the announced schedule for the end-of-year exams.

The Minister’s decision stressed that all preventive measures have been taken to ensure the safety of students and increase the number of committees, with the National Center for Examinations and Educational Evaluation in coordination with the managers of the general subjects to redesign the specifications of the examination paper.

As for the exams of “Our Children Abroad”:

In his decision, the Minister said that the transportation classes (kindergarten, first and second grades) are satisfied with what the student studied until March 15, 2020.

As for the grades from the third primary to the second secondary, it is sufficient for what the student studied until March 15, and this will be taken into account in the research project that will be published on the online platform or the website of our children abroad, so that the student or his guardian enters the site to know the research What is required, print it, perform it on paper, and present it to the embassy so that the embassy or the cultural office collects research projects and sends them to the General Administration of Examinations after conditions improve and stability, for evaluation and extracting the final result.

As for the Egyptian path schools:
