Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held this evening a meeting to find urgent solutions to the problem of crowding and crowding out who wish to conduct an analysis of the Corona virus for citizens who want to travel abroad, in the presence of ministers: tourism and antiquities, health and population, civil aviation, and the state for the media.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister affirmed that the aim of the meeting is to facilitate the necessary steps to conduct tests and analysis of the new Corona virus (COVID-19) for citizens traveling abroad, so that the competition that occurred today in front of the central laboratories of the Ministry of Health and Population is not repeated.

For her part, Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, explained that travelers wishing to take the virus tests can access the online reservation website that was prepared today, which is:; to book an appointment to take the test, and a message appears to him Notice that the date of the plane ticket must be booked on the day of the test, in order for the certificate to be valid for travel, after which a list of dates for the selection of the examination date appears.

The Minister of Health indicated that the test is done in Cairo at the Abbasid Fever Hospital, and in Giza at the Imbaba Fever Hospital, pointing out that samples are drawn from 12 – 3 am, and the test is taken from 3 – 8 am, with review and approval of reports from 8 oclock. – 9 am, and the Prime Minister coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to send a working group to the central laboratories to document the certificates there, then the Ministry of Health will send it to the relevant embassy directly, to facilitate the government of the citizens.

The Minister affirmed that the daily capacity of tomorrow from March 9 to March 13 will reach 400 tests, while the daily capacity of March 14 will reach 1000 tests.

Dr. Hala Zayed noted that the hotline 15335 has also been activated to answer citizens’ inquiries regarding the required test, and to book the test date.
